The Jubilee Choir was founded by Ian Ledsham in 2002 to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Golden Jubilee. We perform a wide variety of choral music, from classical masses to modern pieces, sometimes accompanied by professional soloists and an orchestra or individual musicians .
We have twin aims - to entertain people and to have in the choir singers from each decade. We are particularly keen to encourage singers in the 16-40 age group.
Bursaries
are available for young singers aged 15-18 in full time educatiion, in any
voice part, who wish to participate in the choir and who will be given an
opportunity to perform solo.
